Life Planning for Autism: A Primer for Families with Micheal Beloff

In this session, Certified Financial Planner and father of a young adult with ASD shares his wealth of expertise on the topic of life planning for those across the autism spectrum. In an interview with US Autism President Dr. Marlo Thurman, this session focuses on the basics for parents to consider when they have a diagnosed child for their future decision making, housing needs, financial support and planning, and communicating their wants for their child through wills, trusts, and letters of intent.

Important Note: Because this session was recorded several years ago with the intent of giving families broad general guideline for Life Planning, it will be especially important to confirm and verify session detail on this topic with your own life planning specialists and attorneys as certain details discussed in this video may have changed since the session was recorded. Furthermore, the information shared here should not be misconstrued as either financial or legal advice.
